Mini-Flake Animal Bedding is a smaller shaving and
similar to our pelletized animal bedding once the pellet is
activated. Mini-Flake comes from consistent quality 100%
softwood which had been stripped of all bark to create a flake
with high absorption. Mini-Flake has no additives, is
environmentally safe and has nice fresh softwood aroma.
Mini-Flake is easy to work with and recommended for areas
where maintenance and disposal are an issue. Using Mini-Flake
bedding is similar to pelletized beddings except that you do not
need to spray with water to activate

Premium Mini-Flake Animal Bedding Premium Mini Flake
shavings offer a more uniform and consistent flake size. The
small-to-medium sized flakes produce less waste, making stalls
easier to clean and maintain. The extra screening process
removes the fines, resulting in a dust-free product

Premium Pine Bales are packed with 100% kiln dried pine. The
shavings are screened to remove 98% of the fines, leaving the
more uniform flakes. Pine shavings are a favorite during foaling.

Micro Mini-Flake Animal Bedding is the smallest screened
flake available. Because of the fines that are added, this product
will provide superior absorption. It is similar in characteristics to
our Pelletized Animal Bedding, however requires no activation
process

Triple Screened Mix is the most popular Mallard Creek
animal bedding. These shavings are screened to remove 98% of
the fines and the larger flakes, leaving only the more uniform
shaving. Processed with 100% softwood which is a blend of fir
and pine makes for a nice comfortable bedding for all horses.

Classic Mix the original baled shavings which we have offered
since 1982. This classic bedding is 100% softwood which is a
blend of fir and pine. Classic is screened to remove 60% of the
fines leaving 40% for added absorption and leaving the large
flakes for added comfort. Our shavings are packaged in a heat
sealed weather proof polyethylene bag suitable for indoor or
outdoor storage.

Rice Hulls are not as absorbent, but are a good alternative if
your horse is allergic to wood shavings or if you have excellent
drainage. Rice hulls have been used to help shine the coat of
your horse.

Pelletized Animal Bedding is made from 100% softwood with
no additive other than water for cleaner, more environmentally
safe bedding. Our consistent quality starts with our softwood. The
softwood has been stripped of all bark and checked for minimal
knots to create a pellet with a higher absorption rate and a nice
fresh softwood aroma. We control the milling process, the
pressure, and the moisture for a softer, quick absorbing, virtually
