Muck Buster™
Mallard Creek Muck Buster™ is specifically designed for both indoor and outdoor installation where serious footing improvement is desired. During dry weather, Muck Buster™ provides a soft, dust free surface for your paddocks, riding arenas, tracks and breeding stalls. The shock-absorbing properties reduce the strain and impact on performance horses, creating a comfortable training surface. During wet weather, Muck Buster™ is the ultimate groundcover for paddocks or arenas affected by mud and muck. Muck Buster™ provides a weatherproof surface, allowing you to continue training your horses, rain or shine.
Muck Buster™ consists of small chips of virgin western red cedar. Due to its size, Muck Buster™ is also wind-resistant. One cubic yard weighs about 400 lbs.
Installed to a depth of 4”, one cubic yard of Muck Buster™ will cover approximately 80 square feet. Refer to the following calculations for the amount of fiber footing required for your ideal riding surface.
